Chocolate Spaghetti

A chocolate covered twist on comfort food, Rich, silky chocolate clings to every strand of pasta in this dreamy treat.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cooked spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Hershey's Special Dark , or your favorite

Instructions

  • In a medium pan, heat butter and cream cheese on medium heat.
  • Whisk in powdered sugar, and heavy cream.
  • This whisk in chocolate chips until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Place spaghetti into pan and coat well with chocolate sauce.
  • Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar, or sprinkles or whatever you like, I think Heath Toffee Chips will be delicious on top too.

Notes

Double the sauce recipe for a pound of pasta, trust me you’ll want to have plenty of this if you are sharing it!

    1. I love unique flavors and combinations and have sat and eaten a bowl of this watching a movie like others may do with a bowl of cereal. It’s not something I would eat every night for dinner but sure is fun once in a while. It’s sweet and certainly falls into the category of a dessert flavor, and can be enjoyed as such. Remember there are no rules when it comes to great tasting food. You can enjoy what you like any time you like 🙂

    1. You could make the sauce and the pasta and keep them separately, until ready to serve then heat each and toss them together.
