Asian Beef Short Ribs (Pressure Cooker Recipe)

Instant pot Asian Beef Short Ribs are so tender and delicious, there is no need to go out to eat with all this delicious food, ready in under 30 minutes.

I’ve had a pressure cooker for over 14 years.

I go back and forth using it a lot and using it a little.

But one thing is for sure, it’s FAST!

It cooks chicken, pork, and beef as if it were slow-cooked, very tender, but the pressure cooker cooks it FAST, by locking in the steam it automatically tenderizes the meat,

I always use my pressure cooker for corned beef, otherwise

I’d be ALL day cooking three corned beef, what can I say.

We like corned beef and if you going to go ahead and made all the trimmings for the meal, you might as well have plenty of beef to go with it. I’ve made Corned Beef Dinner and Corned Beef and Cabbage Soup if you want to see them.

I keep hearing that pressure cookers are coming back. We’ll see, most people I know don’t use one, but I love it.

I just love easy meals like these thanks to my pressure cooker they are FAST too. Under 30 minutes till it’s on the table.

    1. yes you can cook many items in the pressure cooker, I’ve even had people tell me they cook cheesecake in it. Potatoes cook very quick in it. I use it the most for beef and chicken but I know there are many other uses for it.

  1. My mom used to use a pressure cooker, one of the old fashioned kind with the tops that rattled back and forth. I have lots of appliances, but this is not one of them, although I’ve thought about it for the last couple of years. I know the newer ones are a lot safer, so thanks for sharing this Asian inspired recipe – it’s got me thinking again about buying a pressure cooker. I’ve heard they’re great for cooking beans in too.

    1. You won’t believe how FAST it cooks things, and yes the topper rocks back and forth letting out some steam just like you remember 🙂 Great for potatoes too.

  2. I just received a new pressure cooker last night from a friend and I am looking forward to creating more delicious food with it. I can’t imagine life without a pressure cooker, it’s amazing!
