- 1 large peach or 2 small peaches, remove pit and dice, Alternatively, you can use 1-1.5 cups peach jam
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons diced jalapenos
- 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning or a citrus, chili-style garlic seasoning like Spanglish Asadero All-Purpose seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Bourbon
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat on medium until it comes to a simmer.
- Turn to medium-low temperature and simmer for 15 minues, ti iwill thincken, add a few drops of water if it becomes too thick. Turn the temperature down so it doesn't get too thick. Add in a tablespoon of water to get to a thick but pourable consistency.
- Strain the sauce with a fine strainer over a bowl, pressing everything out of the strainer. Scrape the bottom of the strainer. Mix everything smoothly and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- The sauce will thicken as it cools.
