Sweet and Spicy Bourbon Peach Dipping Sauce
Fresh peach season is the perfect time to make a batch, especially if you can get your hands on sweet, juicy peaches, if not, use peach jam.

- 1 large peach or 2 small peaches, remove pit and dice, Alternatively, you can use 1-1.5 cups peach jam
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons diced jalapenos
- 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning or a citrus, chili-style garlic seasoning like Spanglish Asadero All-Purpose seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Bourbon
Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat on medium until it comes to a simmer.
Turn to medium-low temperature and simmer for 15 minues, ti iwill thincken, add a few drops of water if it becomes too thick. Turn the temperature down so it doesn't get too thick. Add in a tablespoon of water to get to a thick but pourable consistency.
Strain the sauce with a fine strainer over a bowl, pressing everything out of the strainer. Scrape the bottom of the strainer. Mix everything smoothly and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
The sauce will thicken as it cools.
