gummy candies

March 15, 2010

fun Irish celebrating with these homemade gummy candies, in clover-shaped, but can be adapted into any design

Gummy Shamrocks!
How to make them gummy candies
1 package of jello (I used lime)
2 packages of unflavored gelatin
1 cup hot water
mix well and pour into a plastic mold,
I usually make melted chocolate candies with these molds,
you can also use cute ice cube tray molds,
what ever shape you like.
I placed them in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and they were all set up.
I peeled them gently away from the edge with my finger and pulled them out of the molds.
They are bright and cheery!
and my kids think they are LUCKY to have them.
Just one more idea for my
17 days of St. Patrick’s Day fun

Hi Diane!! What a fun treat to make. Thanks for the recipe!!

I just got the cookie cutter and necklace and gold coins in the mail. Thank you so much!! It was so fun to open the package. My 5 year old immediately wanted to wear the necklace and hasn't taken it off since!! You are very sweet and I appreciate the package so much!

    XOXO
