Savory Pear Tart

April 21, 2010

Pear Tart with Gorgonzola and Walnuts

A very sweet friend gave me the freshest walnuts from a friends walnut farm,
I have never tasted walnuts so delicious.
I knew I had to put them in something delicious, before I ate them all by themselves.
I had some ripe pears just waiting to be put in too.
I sauted the pear with butter and added the walnuts,
then placed it on puff pastry and added crumbled Gorgonzola on top and baked it.
Truly it was savory and what a great flavor combination.

I wrote the instructions above, no real recipe I purchased frozen pastry and then sautéed the pear with a little butter then placed the pair with walnutsontop with the cheese and baked it according to the package. hope that was helpful
