Salty Sweet Pretzel Toffee
A salty-sweet candy made with pretzels, Buttery sweet crunchy toffee, and chocolate is the perfect combination of flavors to satisfy all your sweet tooth cravings
Servings: 12 + servings
Ingredients
- 7 oz pretzel sticks
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- You'll need a rolled edge baking sheet. I used a 1/4 sheet pan.
- Place pretzels on the baking sheet, flat
- In saucepan heat butter and sugar and boil and cook until it's 285° or as brown as a paper bag.
- Pour the heated toffee over the pretzels.
- Place the chocolate chips on top of the toffee and wait 1 minute. Spread with an offset spatula.
- If using the decorative candy eyes or sprinkles. Place them on top so they harden in the chocolate as it sets up.
- Cut apart with a knife or break into pieces.
