Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Bones

Servings: 30 treats
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal, can use flour for this cup is desired
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons water, add more if needed, but you'll want it thick if you are writing names
- food coloring
Instructions
- In the bowl of a mixer, add the ingredients and mix on medium until well blended.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a bone shaped cookie cutter.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow them to cool completely before adding icing.
- Mix powdered sugar and water and use food coloring, mix well until smooth, place in a piping bag to be able to easily write names on treats, or use a spatula and spread icing over the tops of the dog bones.
