Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Bones

- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal, can use flour for this cup is desired
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons water, add more if needed, but you'll want it thick if you are writing names
- food coloring
In the bowl of a mixer, add the ingredients and mix on medium until well blended.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a bone shaped cookie cutter.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow them to cool completely before adding icing.
Mix powdered sugar and water and use food coloring, mix well until smooth, place in a piping bag to be able to easily write names on treats, or use a spatula and spread icing over the tops of the dog bones.
