- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup dutch cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract I use Tahitian Vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan combine water, sugar, cocoa, and salt.
Whisk over medium heat until it comes to a full boil.
Stir until cooked 1 minute.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Let cool and place in a jar.
Store in fridge since it doesn't have preservatives.
