Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup dutch cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract I use Tahitian Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan combine water, sugar, cocoa, and salt.
  • Whisk over medium heat until it comes to a full boil.
  • Stir until cooked 1 minute.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Let cool and place in a jar.
  • Store in fridge since it doesn't have preservatives.
