Red Velvet Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark chocolate
  • 1 cup white chocolate
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 7 oz. marshmallow cream
  • 1 tablespoon dry buttermilk Saco makes dry buttermilk available in the baking aisle
  • 2 tablespoons Red Velvet Baking Emulsion or red food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In medium saucepan
  • pour dark chocolate, white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk together
  • heat over medium heat until candy is fully melted
  • remove from heat
  • stir in marshmallow cream until it's smooth
  • add in dry buttermilk, red velvet baking emulsion and vanilla extract
  • Pour into 2 oz plastic containers and chill in fridge until set about an hour. Alternatively you can place the fudge in an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper to set the fudge up and then remove it from the pan and cut it into pieces.
