Lemon Sprinkle Cookies
Servings: 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoon lemon baker’s emulsion lemon extract if you don't have emulsion
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sprinkles
Instructions
- Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and lemon flavors.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt and sprinkles.
- Mix until the dough is well blended and smooth.
- It will pull away from the sides of the mixer bowl.
- Roll out the dough between wax paper sheets for 1/4 inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter.
- Bake at 400° for 7-8 minutes.
