Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce
Servings: 4 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 medium green Granny Smith apples diced (2 cups)
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat cranberry juice in a medium saucepan add the sugar and when it comes to a boil add in apples, cranberries, boil 8-10 minutes on low.
Stir in cinnamon and vanilla.
Remove from heat. The sauce with thicken as it cools. You can refrigerate it to speed this up.
Can be served warm or cool.
