Peanut butter itself is not toxic to cats, but if it has xylitol added that is what can be toxic. Alternatives could be to use cream cheese or another item you and your cat would prefer.

Well, one time a year on their birthday will not rot their teeth or cause a problem. It’s clearly, not something to serve to them every day nor did I recommend doing so. Birthdays are once a year 🙂
