It’s a VERY small amount that you apply to the cookies, and it does dry so I feel personally it’s ok to use. Everyone has to do what they feel is best. It’s really a trace amount that is being added, I think I used a teaspoon on 6 dozen cookies. And no one person ate all 6 dozen 🙂 I have not used it to thin piping gel, another option to thin items is corn syrup or water, I have tried corn syrup on cookies, usually, with good results, it’s thick and takes much longer to dry.

Vodka is an alcoholic beverage and can be purchased where alcoholic beverages are sold near you. They sell small bottles like you’d see on an airplane/hotel for convenience if you don’t typically have alcohol like vodka on hand. When using vodka, you will be using a very small amount with a small paintbrush to apply it, then add the sprinkles or glitter and it will dry quickly and the sprinkle sticks to the icing of hte cookiesl.
