Sure, you can use lemon zest instead and if you want to be sure it’ll have enough lemon flavor reduce the milk by 2 Tablespoons and add 2 more tablespoons lemon juice 🙂

I prefer not to use lemon extract. Can I use extra vanilla extract and add more lemon zest for flavor?
