We have an Italian restaurant near us that serves crusty bread that is about 11/2 inch thick and is baked flat like a sheet cake with scored lines. Have you ever tried making rolls?

Hi Diane, This bread recipe is outstanding!

I just made a focaccia variation:
1/2t more salt
1T chopped fresh rosemary
1T olive oil

Turned out excellent! (The crust seems a little crunchier from the olive oil…)
