I don&#039;t use this for piping as it has a little softer texture, small piping will work, but I don&#039;t prefer it for large swirls on cupcakes for instance.

Yes this frosting can be made ahead of time and left on counter for a couple days or refrigerate it, then brought to 70° a cool room temp, then re-mixed.
