Wet Walnuts
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple extract
  1. Bring water and sugar to a boil, boil one minute.
  2. Stir in maple extract.
  3. Place in a jar with lid and store in the refrigerator.
  4. Serve it over ice cream, on cupcakes, cake, and other great treats.
The proportions are 2:1 two parts sugar:one part water you can make a large quantity just keep the proportions the same and add the maple extract accordingly. After two days, if I haven't consumed them all I store them in the refrigerator.
