Pesto Sauce with Walnuts
  • 1 cup basil
  • 1/4 cup Romano Cheese (or Parmesan)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt (if desired)
  1. In a glass with an immersion blender or food processor add basil, cheese, walnuts, and garlic start blending and drizzle in olive oil.
  2. Taste then add salt if desired.
