How to toast coconut in the oven
  • sweetened shredded coconut ( I toasted about 10oz out of a 14oz bag on a 1/4 sheet pan)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread the coconut into a thin layer on a 1/4 baking sheet.
  3. Place in upper portion of the oven.
  4. Turn the coconut so it toasts evenly with a spatula/turner.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until coconut is golden.
  6. Allow toasted coconut to completely cool, then store in an airtight container.
  7. Will keep fresh for one month at room temperature.
