This worked really well! My grandma used to add a drop or two of oil to the top of her dye so we did that with two of our eggs. It gives a nice marbled effect if you get the color choice correct.

It only took a couple minutes 2-3 minutes. You can leave them in as long as you’d like for the desired color and depending on the food coloring you use some are more concentrated than others.
