sorry, I thought that was a given, apply icing after the scones have baked. If you apply the icing when they are hot, it will drip off quite a bit, but that is ok if you are serving immediately if you are serving a bit later then allow them to cool a bit before applying the icing so it stays better.

A dozen scones, you can make them larger or smaller if you’d like a different amount.
