Those items are added dry. The moisture from the other items are enough to mix with them when it bakes.

My brother wanted me to make apple cobbler for him and your recipe is perfect! No joke, I’ve made it for him 3 TIMES in one month! I also took it to a potluck and it was a superhit! Thanks for such a fantastic recipe!
