You won’t need to make a syrup to dehydrate apples and give them a cinnamon flavor, I’m sure you could just add cinnamon ans sugar to apple slices and dehydrate them, small pieces or cut them after dehydrating them.

This recipe makes about 1 1/4 cups of syrup. And can be easily multiplied or reduced to make another amount.
