I put them into the same graham cracker crust I used on my Cranberry Pecan Pies, one taste of that delicious graham cracker crust and I was hooked, couldn’t get my mind off it! Had to have it again.
Everyone loved the Mini Cranberry Pecan Pies so much,
that I decided to create another small pie that is similar but different 🙂
These are made with chocolate and who doesn’t think chocolate should make an appearance with cranberries? Not me, chocolate and cranberries sounds like a great combination…
and it is! There are also no nuts in these pies.
It all starts with a delicious chocolate blend,
it reminded me of some sort of chocolate mousse when baked.
Mix 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk with 1/4 cup dutch cocoa (or unsweetened cocoa)
along with 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 cup sour cream.
Next toss in 1/2 package (12 oz) fresh cranberries into the CHOCOLATE
2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 8 Tablespoons melted butter, mix all together and press into each area on cupcake pan. Put about 3 Tablespoons of filling in each.
This what they will look like after they have Baked at 350 for about 25 minutes.
Doesn’t the chocolate part look mousse like? Oh it was so heavenly! That in combination with the tartness of the cranberries makes these so good!
I loved how the chocolate seeped into the sides of the crust, almost like chocolate crust…oh there’s an idea…could you imagine chocolate cookie crusts on these, may just have to try that 🙂
