Everything was ready for my friends to arrive…
I was very excited to be hosting this party.
Williams-Sonoma and Calphalon
have such wonderful products.
I couldn’t wait to show all my friends what they had sent me for an easy and elegant dinner party.
I received two Calphalon pans,
one is a sauté pan and the other a grill pan.
They were just fabulous to cook with.
I loved how I could just put them into the oven to finish cooking the food after getting a nice sear on it, what a convenient feature. The new nonstick surface these pans have makes them a joy to cook with and very easy to clean.
The menu was set by them and I was to prepare it for my guests. Lots of goodies were in the box that arrived, a pretty red Williams-Sonoma apron, along with some items to prepare the meal and a Calphalon heat resistant utensil for each of my guests.
The evening began with grilled crostini with goat cheese and witchcraft tomato relish, as well as a hot artichoke, jalapeño and spinach dip.
The wine selection from Wine on a dime were these two reds
along with a lovely Chardonnay I had chilled.
Woodenhead Wineries sent their Pinot Noir
I had a silly face on in just about every photo, I prefer to be behind the lens!
The menu was Pork Tenderloin with Heirloom Tomato Salad
Grilled Radicchio with Orange and Balsamic
and grilled vegetables
roasted gold potatoes

The California Tea and Coffee Brewery was our tea sommelier and they pared specific tea for items I was serving. We enjoyed iced White Champagne Raspberry with appetizers and dinner. Then had this delicious White Coconut tea with our dessert. The menu called for Lemon Ricotta Belinis with a raspberry sorbet, but I chose to create Lemon Ricotta Cupcakes with a Raspberry frosting, I’m so glad I did they were absolutely delicious, who knew ricotta in cupcakes would be so heavenly. I will be making them again real soon. I will post the recipe later this week,
