I made chocolate scones again, but forgot to put in the chocolate chips this time, once they were in the oven I realized it. Isn’t that always the way! They just weren’t as good as I recall them being when I made them here.
I decided to make ice cream sandwiches with these. Cut them in half and fill them with vanilla ice cream.
Great decision if I do say so myself!
They were just perfect!
We all enjoyed them as we lounged around the pool today, I assembled one and put it in the freezer so that the ice cream would firm up so I could get a photo later without it looking like a gooey mess.
Well I forgot to leave a note on it,
and you know what happens when you don’t leave a note on it….
It gets gobbled up!
I’m glad my son enjoyed it though 🙂
No problem, I’ll just make another…
but now there was no ice cream..
my daughter enjoyed the rest of the ice cream.
While they was gobbling up the all the sweets, I was enjoying the sunset!
I attended a Walk about photography tour of the Temecula Wine Country with Dan Pettus’ and thanks to Dan and Ryan, I leaned a lot and hope I remember to use all their helpful tips. It is so great to see people with such extensive knowledge about something enjoy sharing that knowledge with others.
