I enjoyed a Valentine’s Dinner at
Splashes,
in the Surf and Sand Resort on Laguna Beach
top left corner going clock wise-
roasted prawns appetizer (delicious)
next is the duck prosciutto with white and green asparagus (this was mine-yum)
seared Ahi Tuna (wish I had tried it-was told it was great)
Velvety American Beauty Rose was given to each of us girls,
dessert -red velvet for two with strawberry ice cream and coconut for 2
pear trifle,then the chocolate ecstasy
(very chocolaty indeed, chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse, and a chocolate truffle)
Chateau Brion (delicious glad hubby like to share)
for my entree I had lobster in puff pastry (perfect! and two lobster claws on right side of plate as well)
left lower corner rose- heading up is the heart shaped potato and a photo of our friends that we celebrated a wonderful dinner with, and I’m glad they weren’t annoyed with me taking photos.
I took the photo of the sunset from the car a block from the restaurant.
The sun is setting over Catalina Island, just stunning!

We were gone for the weekend – had Valentine's dinner at the Texas Roadhouse (we don't have them in Canada – so we go to one if we get the chance). Never thought to take the camera along
